Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) in Washington, DC is seeking a Director of Advance to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of organizational events from concept to post-event reconciliation.

You will serve as the central point of contact for event logistics, partnering with internal teams, vendors, and venues to deliver seamless experiences while aligning with budgets and organizational goals. Exceptional organization and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, communications, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating meetings, conferences, and large-scale programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication and budget awareness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistical aspects of organizational events, including meetings, conferences, retreats, receptions, fundraisers, and special events.
• Develop and maintain detailed event timelines, project plans, and task trackers to ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist in developing event agendas, run-of-show documents, and briefing materials.
• Coordinate venue selection, site visits, and venue communications.
• Support room setup planning, audiovisual requirements, signage needs, and event flow management.
• Manage vendor proposals, pricing, and contracts through internal approvals.
• Monitor vendor deliverables and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
