Responsibilities

• Set direction for maintainable software, architecture, code quality, testing, delivery, reliability, and technical documentation.
• Translate priorities of the Director of Engineering role into documented plans, decisions, and measurable outcomes.
• Build lightweight, repeatable processes suitable for an early-stage company and mature over time.
• Collaborate across functions to resolve dependencies and deliver complete outcomes.
• Identify risks early, propose proportional solutions, and escalate significant decisions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and handle company, customer, and employee information responsibly.
• Communicate progress, constraints, priorities, and results clearly to teammates.
