Job summary

Catalent is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead maintenance, facilities, and process/packaging engineering across a gummies-related site in the United States. You will manage capital projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive asset reliability to support growth and audit readiness.

The role requires a strong background in engineering leadership within a regulated environment, with a focus on continuous improvement, safety, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering, continuous improvement, manufacturing tech, validation.
• 5+ years management experience in a regulated industry.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; OSHA 10 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect leadership to maintenance and facilities teams for safe, compliant, efficient execution.
• Oversee facilities, utilities, and infrastructure for readiness, compliance, and long-term integrity.
• Lead Process Engineering to improve yield, throughput, and robustness.
• Lead Packaging Engineering to ensure line performance and transfers.
• Own and execute the capital project portfolio from concept to validation.
