Job summary

Qualifications

• Substantial, hands-on NPD leadership spanning full development lifecycle.
• Experience running an engineering function with portfolio prioritization, project controls, schedules, and metrics.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through with accurate project information.
• At least 10 years of progressive engineering experience, incl. 7 years leading NPD and sustaining teams.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong people-management, cross-functional influence, business judgment, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the NPD portfolio from concept through launch and post-launch support.
• Run day-to-day engineering with priorities, reviews, resources, risk management, and metrics.
• Maintain technical and execution rigor across designs, specs, drawings, BOMs, test plans, and change control.
• Design for manufacturability and customer needs in collaboration with Ops, Quality, Supply Chain, Service, and PM.
• Lead sustaining engineering, lifecycle support, cost reduction, and value engineering.
• Build a high-performing team with clear objectives and accountability.
• Shape product roadmap by translating customer insights and technology trends.
• Communicate portfolio status, needs, and decisions to executives and stakeholders.
