Fortune Personnel Consultants - Orlando Office is recruiting a Director of Engineering for the Plastics/Polymers Group. The role focuses on medical device components produced from plastics via extrusion, forming and injection molding, with hands-on leadership and strategic product roadmap ownership.

The position is onsite about 40% with the balance hybrid, and travel of 35–40% domestically and internationally. Relocation assistance is provided to successful candidates.

Competenze

• Engineering background in plastics and polymer materials and related finished products.
• Hands-on medical device products experience produced by extrusion, injection molding, forming or assembly.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 quality management requirements and FDA processes.
• Customer-facing roles in applications engineering or technical sales.
• Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams across sites.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage engineering teams in the US and EU.
• Collaborate with sales to align customer needs with solutions.
• Own technical strategy and roadmap aligned with commercial goals.
• Drive development and introduction of new product features and revenue opportunities.
• Partner with medical device OEMs and contract manufacturers for applications support.
• Measure success via product line growth, feature expansion and benefits.
• Ensure processes meet ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements.
