Job summary

MPI is seeking a Director of Engineering for a premier manufacturer of advanced thermal processing and industrial equipment. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic oversight of product development, engineering operations, and technical strategy to improve performance and enable growth.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive design and standardization, and work with manufacturing, sales, and service to deliver complex systems that meet customer and business objectives.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong background in product development from concept to delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team with clear objectives.
• Oversee design, development, and continuous improvement of complex industrial systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, procurement, and service teams on project delivery.
• Drive standardization, cost reduction, and adoption of new technologies.
