Job summary

Fanatics Betting and Gaming is seeking a Director of Engineering for iCasino Experiences. You will lead the engineering organization that builds the technology customers interact with across mobile apps and backend systems, spanning the U.S. and the U.K.

The role blends strategic and operational leadership, shaping the technical roadmap in partnership with Product, Design, and TPM. You will set delivery direction, standards, and cross-team alignment while maintaining a focus on customer-obsessed

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years leading engineering teams
• Experience building consumer-facing product experiences at scale
• Strong delivery leadership with predictable execution across multiple teams
• Deep operational rigor: production reliability, observability, incident management
• Comfort leading distributed teams across time zones

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing engineering organization across the U.S. and the U.K.
• Own delivery across the domain with operating rhythm and risk management
• Own engineering quality and reliability for all casino apps including production readiness and incident response
• Shape the roadmap with Product, Design, and TPM to deliver iterative V1s
• Hire, develop, and coach engineering managers and senior ICs; design org structure and talent strategy
• Represent iCasino Experiences in cross-organization programs spanning architecture, delivery, and people
• Champion improvements to engineering practices and scalable processes
• Tackle ambiguous cross-team problems and drive them to resolution
• Occasional travel to Fanatics offices and events
