Job summary

Fox Corporation is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead Rainmaker, the Ad Server domain powering Fox’s streaming monetization across Tubi and Fox brands. You will own multi-quarter results, set technical strategy, and partner with Product, Data Science, ML, and platform teams to deliver scalable, reliable ad serving solutions.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in distributed systems and 5+ years in leadership, with strong JVM/Scala backend skills and experience with Postgres, Redis, Kafka,

Qualifications

10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
5+ years of engineering leadership, managing senior engineers and managers.
Strong depth in low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems with SOA.

Responsibilities

Lead Rainmaker Ad Server engineering team with clear direction and priorities.
Own the engineering strategy and roadmap for ad serving capabilities.
Collaborate with Product, Data Science, ML, and other teams to deliver multi-team initiatives.
Drive architecture of distributed systems powering ad decisioning and monetization.
Develop a high-performing engineering organization through coaching and leadership.
