Job Summary

This is a full-time, fully remote working opportunity where you will lead a distributed team of engineers in building and scaling AI-powered analytics products. As Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for technical strategy, team leadership, roadmap execution, and cross-functional coordination. Attending meetings, making strategic architectural decisions, and collaborating actively with stakeholders are key components of the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing remote engineering team
• Define and implement scalable engineering processes and best practices
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure technical excellence
• Collaborate with product, AI/ML, and design teams to deliver high-impact features
• Oversee delivery of reliable, secure, and performant software
• Promote a strong engineering culture rooted in innovation and ownership
• Manage team capacity, hiring, and performance reviews
• Participate in code and architecture reviews to ensure quality and consistency
• Contribute to shaping product strategy and long-term technical vision

Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced level of written and oral English proficiency
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Proven ability to manage and scale remote engineering teams
• Strong background in system architecture, cloud platforms, and backend services
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building SaaS platforms, engineering analytics, or AI/ML-driven products
• Familiarity with tools like GitHub, Jira, and data visualization frameworks
• Ability to work closely with AI researchers, product managers, and senior leadership
