The role focuses on building and maintaining analytical tools for risk management, interfacing with Supply and Technology teams, and reporting risk to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other quantitative field.
• 8–10 years in Energy commodities trading or related financial markets.
• 6+ years in a Market Risk or risk management role.

Responsabilités

• Assist in marking wholesale and retail price curves including implied hourly scalers and scarcity premiums.
• Build and maintain monitoring checks to ensure risk limits and reporting accuracy.
• Work independently in a global, matrixed organization with a results-driven approach.
• Analyze complex financial information to provide timely data for decision-making by supply and management.
• Prepare financial models and data mining tools for variance analysis.
• Review and explain daily risk movements, drivers and sensitivities.
• Monitor positions versus limits per approved risk mandates.
