Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus at least three years of experience in AI, automation and robotics, electronics, semiconductor technologies, advanced manufacturing, intelligent systems, or related emerging technologies.
• Experience developing, managing, or supporting technical programs, workforce training initiatives, academic pathways, or related applied technology programs.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with employers, advisory committees, industry partners, educational partners, or workforce stakeholders.
• Strong project management, communication, leadership, and organizational skills coordinating multiple priorities across campuses and partners.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for NWACC’s advanced tech programs (AI, automation, robotics, electronics, etc.).
• Develop growth strategies aligning credit, non-credit, professional skills, microcredentials, certificates, apprenticeships, customized training, and degree pathways with regional needs.
• Build and maintain partnerships with employers, advisory committees, K-12, higher education, workforce, nonprofits, and economic development.
• Lead the design, launch, review, and continuous improvement of employer-informed programs, curriculum, and learning outcomes.
• Monitor emerging technology trends and recommend educational responses for responsible AI, data privacy, cybersecurity, and automation.
• Support student recruitment, enrollment, advising coordination, retention, completion, and employment pathways.
• Oversee daily program operations including scheduling, labs, equipment, enrollment monitoring, and multi-campus delivery.
• Recruit, onboard, supervise, and evaluate faculty and instructional staff while promoting quality and alignment.
• Develop and manage program budgets, equipment plans, grants, sustainability, and reporting obligations.
• Support grant development, employer-sponsored training, revenue strategies, and regional initiatives.
