Montefiore Medical Center seeks a Director of Emergency Services Clinical Operations to lead daily clinical operations and drive alignment with business and clinical goals.

The role develops policies, monitors budgets, and manages staff while maintaining standards of nursing practice and patient care outcomes across the Emergency Services. A senior leader focused on quality, safety and cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• 8+ years of experience, preferably in critical care nursing, and 5-7 years of leadership experience required.
• NYS RN License and Registration required.

Responsabilidades

• Serves as a key member of the Emergency Services and Capacity Management Committees. Leads and manages the clinical operations of the Emergency Services.
• Accountable to AVP of Emergency Services for overall management of activities while preserving safety and satisfaction of patients and staff.
• Accountable to Chief Nurse Executive and Nursing Executive Leadership Staff in a shared governance model to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate scope of practice for Emergency Nursing Service professional practice standards and patient care outcomes.
• Responsible for activities to ensure quality, compassionate, culturally competent, effective and efficient patient care in compliance with Montefiore Health System standards and regulatory agencies.
• Leading, organizing, deploying, measuring and rewarding the Emergency Services and ensuring team collaboration for patient care, admissions and registration.
• Communicates with AVP, Emergency Services Chairman, Directors of Nursing, and medical staff to identify, monitor and solve issues related to Emergency Services.
