Job description

ArcPoint is a rapidly growing electrical contractor serving critical facilities across the NYC metro area. Because we are expanding aggressively, we offer what matters most to our crew: steady, year-round work with zero bench time.

Reports to: Stephen Marcellino, CEO

ArcPoint Electric Solutions is looking for an electrical contractor leader who can run work from the first service call or job walk through final closeout. You’ll lead our field team, oversee service and construction operations, review estimates and pricing, and make sure jobs are staffed, documented, and delivered as promised.

This is a hands‑on leadership role that splits time between the office and job sites. You’ll manage Field operations, work closely with our office operations team, customers, engineers, and vendors.

About ArcPoint

ArcPoint is a licensed electrical contractor serving commercial properties and critical facilities across the NYC metro area. Our work includes electrical maintenance, 24/7 emergency service, infrared testing, preventive maintenance, tenant fit‑outs, renovations, service and lighting upgrades, and EV charging.

Customers rely on us for responsive service, clear documentation, real‑time reporting, and straightforward pricing.

What you’ll own:
Lead the team and field operation
  • Manage, coach, and hold accountable the Field Service Manager, electricians, and field leaders.
  • Set and enforce expectations for safety, workmanship, documentation, productivity, and customer conduct.
  • Address performance problems promptly and provide input on hiring, training, and promotions.
  • Work with the Operations Engineer to build the weekly schedule, balance emergency and planned work, and ensure crews have the people, materials, equipment, and site information they need.
Oversee service and emergency work
  • Own the service process from incoming request through dispatch, pricing, completion, and closeout.
  • Ensure emergency calls are handled in line with ArcPoint’s applicable response commitments.
  • Price time-and-material, flat-rate, and small-project work accurately and promptly.
  • Track open tickets, callbacks, and repeat problems until they are resolved.
Run projects from scope to closeout
  • Lead job walks and assess existing conditions, electrical loads, code requirements, access, and shutdown needs.
  • Oversee tenant fit‑outs, renovations, upgrades, and design‑build work from mobilization through punch list.
  • Coordinate with engineers, GCs, building engineers, property managers, utilities, and inspectors as needed.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, inspections, and project handoffs so scope and responsibilities stay clear.
Protect pricing and project performance
  • Prepare or review labor and material takeoffs, service pricing, estimates, and proposals.
  • Check that scope, assumptions, exclusions, and pricing are clear before proposals go to customers.
  • Monitor labor hours, material costs, schedule changes, and job margin. Identify problems early and bring a corrective plan to leadership.
Connect the field, office, and customer
  • Spend time on active job sites and in the office each week.
  • Ensure service tickets, daily reports, photos, and closeout documentation are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Give leadership clear updates on job status, costs, risks, and decisions needed.
  • Be a responsive point of contact for customers on active work.
What you bring
  • At least 10 years in the electrical trade, including 5 or more years leading electricians and field supervisors.
  • A hands‑on background as an electrician or foreman, with substantial experience in both service and construction.
  • Experience scoping and delivering commercial electrical or critical‑facility projects, including design‑build work.
  • Strong estimating skills, including takeoffs, labor planning, material pricing, service‑ticket pricing, and proposal writing.
  • Experience scheduling crews across multiple simultaneous jobs and responding to changing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of the NEC, NYC Electrical Code, permitting, and inspections.
  • Ability to read and mark up electrical drawings, one‑lines, and panel schedules.
  • Comfort using scheduling, ticketing, estimating, and spreadsheet tools.
  • Clear communication, sound judgment under pressure, and a valid driver’s license for travel throughout the NYC metro area.

Especially valuable: OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E training; experience with infrared testing, preventive maintenance, or EV charging; and relationships with NYC‑area property managers, facility teams, or GCs.
