Title: Director of Electrical Engineering

Division: Electrical

Location: onsite Houston, TX 77042

Compensation: Sign-on bonus + year-end bonus + STOCK ESOP

Summary: The Director of Electrical Engineering manages and directs electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering for the company. The key responsibilities include strategic planning, resource management, process optimization, quality assurance, and problem resolution. The vice president of engineering facilitates project execution to meet client and company objectives, manages resources, collaborates with other departments, develops systems and controls, and ensures compliance with quality standards.

Responsible for leading a department specializing in electrical engineering design services, focusing on revenue, profitability, growth, and personnel development.

General Responsibilities:

1. Develops and directs procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
2. Ensures correct scoping, pricing, and scheduling of the E&IC components of projects during proposal development.
3. Manages engineering budgets.
4. Builds, develops, and manages an engineering team capable of executing engineering initiatives.
5. Ensures project schedules, deadlines, and budgets are well communicated and adhered to.
6. Occasionally travels for client meetings, agency meetings, and site visits.
7. Responsible for a business volume of at least $5 million.
8. Builds relationships and grows business in the energy sector.
9. Develops new business by marketing to existing clients and identifying new clients.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree
