Role and Responsibilities:

The role is centered on collaboration within the continuing medical education (CME) industry including interaction with accredited providers, educational partners, and commercial supporters, specifically requiring the individual to:

• Identify, pursue, and vet opportunities to secure educational support
• Research, develop, and submit complete educational grant requests/proposals in collaboration with accredited providers and educational partners
• Lead activity development, execution, and reconciliation with activity management and fulfillment teams for any approved proposals
• Maintain sound, ethical, and compliant business practices (e.g. ACCME, OIG, FDA, PhRMA).

Experience and Qualifications:

The role requires a very high level of enthusiasm, integrity, and professionalism. Candidates must be able to work independently and as a team leader. Candidates must possess:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, work under pressure, adapt to changing situations, and adhere to deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to understand foundational science across multiple therapeutic areas, identify areas in need of education, and develop creative educational plans that close gaps in care.

The ideal candidate will also possess:

• Experience in the CME/CE/IME industry
• Experience in instructional design and adult learning
• Experience in business development within the CME and/or pharmaceutical industries
• Understanding of the medical education landscape (e.g. ACCME, OIG, FDA, PhRMA).
• An advanced degree (e.g. MS, PhD, PharmD, MD)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications

Location and Travel Requirements:

This position offers the flexibility of working in our New Jersey office or telecommuting. Travel estimated at 20%-25%.
