CIRES at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks a Director for the Center for Education, Engagement and Evaluation (CEEE) to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for a broad portfolio of programs connecting environmental science with learners, educators, scientists, and communities.

The role combines research-education leadership, grant development, fundraising, and cross-sector collaboration to drive impact across education, engagement and career development.

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. in Education, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or closely related field.
• Six+ years directing programs including hiring, grant mgmt, events and reporting.
• Six+ years supervising and mentoring professionals.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership, management and strategic direction for CEEE and CIRES.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, reporting and grant/proposal development.
• Build partnerships with CIRES, CU Boulder and NOAA to advance priorities.
• Lead and manage a portfolio of education, engagement, and evaluation projects.
• Travel occasionally (3–5 trips per year) as needed.
