The Office of Judicial Administration is responsible for the efficient administration of all agencies that operate under the direction of the Chief Justice and the Supreme Court. That includes 200 personnel; fiscal management; communication; technology; legal services; intergovernmental relations; services for the trial courts; and support for court boards, commissions, and committees. The Office is headed by Chief Administrative Officer Aaron Hood, who reports directly to the Chief Justice of Indiana and serves as the link between the Chief Justice and the agencies of the Court.
Salary: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $102,000 but may be commensurate with education and/or experience.
Under the direction of the Executive Director of the Indiana Office of Court Services, this position leads and manages a fourteen (14) member team responsible for the delivery of continuing education for Indiana judicial officers, trial court personnel, and elected clerk staff associated with court operations, probation officers, and community supervision teams. The position also oversees programming associated with risk assessment certification, probation officer certification, and court substance abuse management specialist certification.
The education director oversees the coordination and development of the division's continuing education events addressing assessed needs, the management and implementation of education events, and oversees the division's online learning management system for distance education. The education director consults and collaborates with other divisions or Office of Judicial Administration departments on stakeholder continuing professional development. The education director develops and manages the education division budget.
