Job summary

Secretariat is seeking a Director in the Economics team to lead high-stakes economic analysis for clients including law firms, regulators, and major corporations. You will guide research, data interpretation, and strategic insights, collaborating with economists, statisticians, and financial analysts.

You will manage cases, mentor staff, and present defensible findings to diverse stakeholders while operating in a fast-paced, globally connected environment.

Qualifications

• Degree required in Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or Public Policy.
• 6–10 years of experience at a consulting firm, law firm, regulatory agency, or corporate advisory role.
• Experience on high-profile IP, antitrust matters, or economic analysis in mergers and conduct cases.
• Strong project management and client-facing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead one to three cases at a time and manage Associates.
• Oversee data analysis using Stata, R, Databricks, Excel, and ArcGIS.
• Research industries and companies using online and government resources.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to IP team growth.
• Present findings to clients, counsel, regulators, and stakeholders.
