Qualifikationen

• Must have a four year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related area of Child Development.
• Must have two years of experience as a Director or Assistant Director in a child care school.
• Must meet all state requirements for this position.
• Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
• Highly professional and dependable.
• Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and with parents, coworkers and management.
• Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high.

Aufgaben

• Recruit, identify and hire the best candidates and maintain a fully staffed Academy through succession planning and weekly staffing schedules.
• Train, develop and inspire staff; implement developmentally appropriate programs for all children; recommend merit raises when applicable.
• Promote teamwork and create a positive atmosphere; recognize individual and team performance; maintain high retention of top talent.
• Analyze key business metrics and results to identify performance strengths and opportunities.
• Familiarize self with Academy budgets and manage salary and controllable expenses within budgeted amounts.
• Maintain relationships with State licensing authorities, vendors and community contacts; report to the franchisee on inspections.
• Oversee building condition, coordinate repairs with vendors and monitor janitorial work.
• Communicate priorities and information clearly to staff; set goals and action plans; ensure flawless execution and strong parent experiences.
