Beltology, a modern belt startup in NYC, is seeking a Director of E-commerce to enhance their digital retail presence. This role involves managing e-commerce operations, developing merchandising strategies, and overseeing supply chain activities, catering to an evolving business landscape.
Beltology is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Director of E-commerce to help lead our growing brand & digital retail presence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing & improving our e-commerce system and inventory processes, a core part of our day-to-day operations
- Developing new product merchandising strategies that will more deeply engage our customers
- Overseeing oursuppliers, importers and transporters, playing a critical role in aninternational supply chain that spans3 countries
- Furthering a culture of organization, diligence and productivity within our lean team
- Working closely with partners and team on various business development and wholesaleinitiatives
- Some financial accounting & cash flow analysis, developing critical forecasts for inventory and cash planning (optional role for those with finance background)
Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will have 2-5 years relevant experience, preferably at another retail e-commerce company.
Must exhibit the ability to take significant ownership and learn existing processes quickly.
As a young start-up, we hope this role will continue to evolve and expand as our company grows in the coming 6-12 months, and allow our employees to take an active role in defining their responsibilities within the company.

Beltology sells a more modern belt. Our belts stretch and require no confining pre-punched holes, allowing for a better fit. We create belts in a never ending variety of colors & patterns and then sell them direct to you, no middleman. We believe the belt should be a statement accessory.
