Ventura Foods seeks a Director of Distribution to lead nationwide distribution operations from Irvine, CA with extensive travel across North America. The role oversees corporate and plant distribution teams, drives a modern operating model, and directs continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service and reduce cost.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in warehousing/distribution leadership, multi-site responsibility, and strong experience with WMS/ERP systems, with a proven track

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in warehousing and distribution.
• Full operational responsibility for multi-site warehouse operations.
• Experience with WMS, ERP, labor mgmt systems and equipment.
• Proven project management in distribution and fulfillment.
• Experience developing staff and leaders.
• 3PL experience preferred.
• Food distribution experience helpful.
• Travel 50–75% in North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Distribution function to deliver exceptional customer experience with efficient operations.
• Develop and execute a Corporate Distribution Operating Model in a matrix organization.
• Identify and implement process, capacity, and technology optimization opportunities.
• Own and manage all 3PL providers and optimize costs and service.
• Develop distribution team capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage distribution budget and variance communications.
• Improve distribution performance metrics and reporting.
