Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an Operational Program Director to lead programs for individuals with ID, DD, mental health and medical needs in the Washington/Ramsey County, MN area. This full-time role blends direct care with supervision and requires strong collaboration with families and staff.

Salary starts at $65,000–$66,787.50 per year with a $5,000 retention bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth. Eligible for 401(k) with matching, PTO donations, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field is preferred. Designated Manager status per MN licensing requirements.
• Three years’ experience supervising staff in the human service field.
• Valid United States Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle background check.
• Valid liability vehicle insurance with reliable transportation.
• Must be able to complete personal cares and be able to lift and transfer.
• Be able to transport persons served in the community.
• Must demonstrate good decision-making, time management and communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, some programs require at least 21 years of age per MN requirements for children foster care licensed programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the overall programs serving persons with ID, DD, mental health diagnosis, medical needs and/or autism spectrum. This role is a mix of direct care and supervisory duties.
• Hours are Full-time; schedule flexible to accommodate program, individual, and staff needs, and on-call at all times.
• Ensure direct service shifts are staffed by personnel meeting Dungarvin conditions of employment and adequately oriented and trained; may perform direct service up to 16 hours per week.
