Steampunk is seeking a Director of DevSecOps to lead and grow its DevSecOps practice across Federal civilian and DoD markets. Reporting to the VP of Delivery and Growth, this leader is accountable for the technical strategy, solutioning, and delivery excellence of our work in cloud, software engineering, IT operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and platform engineering.

Formación

• Must obtain and maintain a U.S. government clearance.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in cloud, software engineering, IT operations, testing and DevSecOps.
• 8+ years with one or more clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD tooling.
• 5+ years with containers and Kubernetes; IaC and DevSecOps tooling integration.
• Agile delivery experience; DoD/Federal project leadership preferred.
• Hybrid role located in McLean, VA (3 days on-site).

Responsabilidades

• Architect and articulate cloud, DevSecOps, SRE, and platform engineering solutions for federal clients.
• Lead strategic sales and shape account strategy with executives.
• Manage proposals, orals, technical challenges, and solution demonstrations.
• Translate vision into tactical plans, roadmaps, and delivery milestones.
• Coach teams, improve delivery practices, and foster innovation across projects.
