Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Director of DevOps Engineering to lead enterprise-wide transformation, modernize platform infrastructure, and drive automation and cloud-native architectures. The role requires strong leadership, deep cloud expertise, and experience delivering scalable DevOps programs.

You will oversee CI/CD adoption, IaC implementations, and observability across AWS/Azure, while mentoring a global team and partnering with security, applications, and architecture teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• 2+ years leading Agile engineering teams.
• Strong cloud experience across AWS, Azure, GCP and Linux/Unix.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute DevOps strategies.
• Champion CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and observability.
• Oversee multi-cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure using Terraform.
• Lead container orchestration with ECS/EKS.
• Evaluate AI-powered tools.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including security, application, and architecture teams.
• Mentor a global DevOps team.
• Track engineering metrics and foster continuous improvement.
