Job summary

The Meadowbrook School of Weston, a pre-K through 8th grade school located in Weston, MA, seeks a Director of Development to join our faculty and lead the Advancement Office. Reporting to the CAO, the DOD will drive philanthropic engagement and growth to advance Meadowbrook’s mission.

The role requires an experienced manager, a data-driven strategist, and a collaborative leader who can engage alumni, families, and stakeholders to reach and exceed annual goals and support the Centennial Campaign.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in fundraising and advancement.
• Previous managerial experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge database.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and learn new skills.
• Deep knowledge of Meadowbrook’s history, mission, culture and values.
• Strong relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strategic thinker able to propose new methods and take calculated risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Advancement Office to achieve annual goals.
• Develop and implement data-driven fundraising strategies and campaigns.
• Engage alumni, parents, and guardians to reflect Meadowbrook’s diverse community.
• Oversee the Comprehensive Centennial Campaign and related initiatives.
