Job summary

Pike Place Market Foundation is hiring a Director of Development in Seattle, WA. Hybrid work arrangement with a total fundraising goal of about $5.5M annually. You will lead a development team of 7, manage major donor relationships, and report to the Executive Director.

The role emphasizes building sustained partnerships, strategic planning, and a data-driven approach to fundraising with heavy donor engagement and collaboration with Market partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fund development strategy across annual giving, major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships, and events.
• Own the Development department's budget and optimize resource allocation.
• Partner with program staff to translate community needs into compelling funding opportunities.
• Lead and grow a high-performing development team and oversee operations and data reporting.
