Job summary

Favor International is seeking a Director of Development to lead the U.S. fundraising operation, including Regional Development and Church Engagement. This remote, US-based role reports to the Executive Director and requires a heart for mission and proven major-gift fundraising leadership.

You will supervise fundraising leaders, set revenue goals, and cultivate a robust donor pipeline while partnering with executive leadership to advance our ministry across Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 8 years in nonprofit fundraising/major gifts.
• Proven leadership of fundraising teams and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across U.S. fundraising functions.
• Develop and oversee fundraising strategies aligned to organizational priorities.
• Maintain and grow personal portfolio of major gifts and donors.
• Manage regional development and church engagement teams for performance and collaboration.
• Travel domestically to cultivate relationships and represent Favor International.
