Job summary

Jumpstart:HR, LLC is seeking a Director of Development for the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence and the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence. This role involves planning, organizing, and directing all fundraising efforts while collaborating closely with leadership and the Board. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, particularly in major gifts.

Responsibilities include maintaining direct mail and digital fundraising, growing the major gifts program, and cultivating donor relationships. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and familiarity with progressive fundraising networks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in non-profit or fundraising organizations.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
• Knowledge of major gift and foundation fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Obtain knowledge of CSGV/EFSGV programs for donor communication.
• Grow major gifts program targeting $4M in annual gifts.
• Steward major donors to maximize participation and giving.
