Job summary

The University of South Carolina in Columbia seeks a Director of Development for the Anne Frank Center to lead a major gifts program, coordinating strategies and execution with USC Development and AFC teams.

You will manage a gift portfolio, document activity in Blackbaud CRM, and work with faculty, alumni and donors to advance program priorities. Travel and evening/weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 4 or more years of job related experience.
• Experience in major gifts/development in higher education preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage a comprehensive development program with emphasis on major gifts for AFC.
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit a gift portfolio benefiting AFC priorities.
• Document donor relationships and opportunities in Blackbaud CRM.
