Job summary

The University of South Carolina invites applications for the Assistant Director of Development, SC Honors College. Reporting to the Lead Senior Director of Development, this role supports the management and operations of Development through lead annual gift fundraising and by directing donor solicitation for the College.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least two years in fundraising or development in higher education, and familiarity with Blackbaud CRM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of fundraising or development experience in higher education.
• Familiarity with Blackbaud CRM donor database preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual gift fundraising for the College.
• Build and direct the lead annual gift alumni solicitation program.
• Manage donor/prospect portfolios and coordinate with USC Development.
• Ensure alignment with university policies and procedures.
