Job summary

Brain Injury Association of Colorado seeks a Director of Development in Denver for a full-time role guiding donor cultivation, annual fundraising planning, and a planned giving program. You will develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy and manage BIAC’s special events portfolio to advance the mission.

The position requires nonprofit fundraising experience, strong donor stewardship, and the ability to lead major giving initiatives and campaigns, with occasional statewide

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, and donor stewardship.
• Three years of event management and execution experience.
• Knowledge of social media tools (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Willingness to travel for meetings and events within the state.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage fundraising activities for individual giving, grants, sponsorships, and special events.
• Lead annual fundraising plans and manage communications campaigns.
• Coordinate, manage, attend, and oversee BIAC special events including galas.
• Act as point of contact for grant consultants and manage donor communications.
• Oversee the Resource Directory, stewardship activities, and donor recognition programs.
• Utilize Salesforce for grants, sponsorships, registrations, and reporting.
