HouseMax Funding is seeking an experienced Director of Development Finance to originate, structure, and close complex real estate transactions, including ground-up construction and multifamily projects. You will guide transactions from qualification through funding, collaborating with borrowers, brokers, and partners to optimize capital stacks.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in development finance, CRE lending, construction lending, private credit, or commercial mortgage banking.
• Track record of closing development or construction loans exceeding $5MM.
• Strong understanding of budgets, draw admin, timelines, feasibility, LTC, LTV, DSCR, debt yield, and capital stack structuring.
• Experience reviewing budgets, financial statements, sources and uses of funds, and development pro formas.

Responsabilidades

• Source and originate development and construction lending opportunities.
• Develop relationships with developers, brokers, mortgage bankers, and referral partners.
• Build a national pipeline of qualified development loan opportunities.
• Attend industry networking and development-focused events, learn new systems, and help solve problems as the company grows.
• Deal structuring across land acquisition, horizontal/vertical developments, multifamily, mixed-use, condo, bridge-to-construction.
• Lead transactions from application through closing.
• Coordinate with underwriting, credit, legal, and capital markets partners.
• Review appraisals, feasibility studies, budgets, sources and uses, and schedules.
• Resolve transaction challenges before closing timelines.
• Serve as the primary resource for development lending opportunities.
• Assist loan officers in qualifying and structuring larger transactions.
• Conduct training on development lending best practices.
• Help establish development lending guidelines and approval standards.
