Job summary

OneFuture Coachella Valley is seeking a Director of Development to lead all fundraising activities, including major donor cultivation, foundations, and events. The role oversees donor acquisition strategies, engages the CEO and board, and ensures funds for scholarships and program needs.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of fundraising experience, a bachelor’s degree, and a track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts. Travel and some evenings/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
• Minimum of five years of fundraising experience.
• Proven record of securing gifts of $100,000 or more.
• Ability to build donor relationships and lead major gifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for all fundraising campaigns and activities.
• Lead donor acquisition, annual giving, events, grants and communications.
• Collaborate with CEO and Board on fundraising goals and reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners and funders.
• Oversee grant writing, reporting, and compliance.
