Job summary

Cornea Research Foundation of America seeks a dynamic fundraising leader to advance medical research and education. Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll shape and execute an annual fundraising plan, cultivate donors, and manage our donor database while partnering with the Board.

You’ll also tell our story through compelling communications, plan events, and help grow support for sight-restoring programs. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in fundraising and a passion for our mission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional fundraising experience, including donor database management.
• Excellent writing and speaking skills, and the strategic sense to turn goals into a plan.
• A bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Genuine enthusiasm for work that gives people back their sight.

Responsibilities

Since 1988, the Cornea Research Foundation of America has worked to develop innovative solutions for vision impairment and shared what we learn with patients, physicians, and communities around the world. Our research has helped advance corneal transplant techniques now used by surgeons globally.

You’ll Lead

Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with our Board, you'll lead CRFA's fundraising, including major gifts, annual campaigns, and partnerships. You’ll also help tell our story, managing the communications that build lasting relationships with our supporters.

We're a small team with a big mission, so this role suits someone who enjoys variety and likes rolling up their sleeves across the organization.
