Position Summary

Scarritt Foundation seeks a relationship-driven fundraising professional to lead development strategy and grow annual philanthropic revenue to $1 million.

Fundraising Strategy

• Develop and execute annual fundraising plan to achieve $1M in contributed revenue.
• Build pipeline of individual donors, corporate sponsors, and grant funders.
• Identify new funding opportunities aligned with mission priorities.
• Support long-term sustainability planning.

Major Gifts

• Cultivate relationships with donors capable of gifts of $5,000+.
• Develop personalized donor engagement strategies.
• Partner with leadership on donor meetings and stewardship.

Corporate Sponsorships

• Grow sponsorship revenue for Fur Ball and other initiatives.
• Build relationships with Tucson area businesses and community leaders.
• Develop customized partnership opportunities.

Signature Events

• Provide fundraising strategy for Fur Ball Gala and Wag & Win Raffle.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to maximize revenue opportunities.

Grants

• Identify grant opportunities aligned with program priorities.
• Support development of grant funding strategy.

Donor Stewardship

• Strengthen donor communications and engagement strategies.
• Support implementation and use of DonorPerfect CRM.

Collaboration

• Partner with Founder, Board members, and staff.
• Support board engagement in fundraising activities.
• Provide guidance on development best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fundraising, sales, or business development experience.
• Demonstrated success building relationships that lead to financial support.
• Experience securing sponsorships, major gifts, or partnerships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with ability to execute.
• Experience with CRM systems preferred.
• Familiarity with Tucson philanthropic community a plus.
• Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) Certification Required.
