Job description

Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, The Official State Theatre, seeks a Director of Development/Capital Campaignto design, implement, and manage comprehensive fundraising strategies forOklahoma's leading professional live theatre.

This position is responsible for raising $2.5M+ in annual revenue through individual giving, corporate, foundation, government, and special events, and for executing a 3-4-year Capital Campaign. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Team, the Board Development Committee, and the Capital Campaign Consultant to devise and implement campaigns that support Lyric's annual fundraising goals and plans to renovate two historic facilities key to the theatre's artistic mission and education programs.

The ideal candidate will be a fierce, highly motivated individual with front-line fundraising experience and a proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns. Preferred position requirements include five or more years of fundraising experience at a non-profit organization, three years in a leadership or management position, and a bachelor's degree in non-profit management, arts management, business, or a related field.
