Job summary

WebMD is seeking a Director - Database Analysis to join our Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will generate revenue and business insights through database analysis and solve analytical business problems posed by all levels of management, from C-suite to operations.

You will lead ad hoc analyses on a 180 TB data warehouse using advanced SQL, support new data products, and guide junior staff. Collaboration with Sales on RFPs and campaigns is expected to optimize financial return.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, marketing, or quantitative field (or 8 years equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 8 years experience in financial or marketing analysis.
• Strong database analysis experience, including authoring code in SQL or comparable language.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ad hoc database, financial, marketing, and other quantitative analyses on a 180 TB data warehouse.
• Support the development of new data products and predictive analysis to increase sales.
• Provide analytical support to optimize site performance and financial return; mentor junior staff.
