Job summary

Bounteous is seeking an experienced Director of Data Strategy to lead data-driven marketing initiatives within the Modern Business Platforms practice. The role partners with clients to design, implement, and scale data ecosystems that enable measurement, modeling, and activation across martech and adtech.

The candidate will develop practice-wide data perspectives, build the Data Strategy team, and engage in pitches, estimates, and SOWs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in digital, consulting, or analytics.
• Functional expertise with digital analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
• Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar; SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads cross-functional engagements and cohesive delivery across competencies.
• Uncovers use cases and data initiatives aligned with marketing objectives.
• Conducts data strategy programming, KPI setting, readiness assessments, and roadmapping.
• Assesses client data maturity, prioritizes, and coordinates a strategic data and agile roadmap.
• Provides perspectives on data advancement including warehousing, modeling, and engineering.
• Oversees Data Strategy team members on complex accounts.
