MIO’s Portfolio Analytics Group is seeking a Director of Data Operations to lead our data acquisition and validation engine. The individual will be responsible for defining our end-to-end strategy for manager data, including identifying new data sources, building and overseeing the pipes to ingest data, establishing and running processes to standardize unstructured and bespoke data, developing quality control mechanisms, and ensuring that questions from stakeholders are thoughtfully and quickly answered. In this capacity, the Director of Data Operations will oversee an internal team of analysts and manage external service provider relationships.
The group
The Portfolio Analytics Group (PAG) core function is to provide decision support to the Investment team by maintaining and evolving MIO's manager selection analytics and provisioning data to create an edge in our investment processes. The group also acts as the fundamental center of competence, producing routine performance and risk reports for Risk and Advisory. The PAG team co-owns MIO's attribution system, which is central to managing our investment team and systemic risks across our portfolio.

Certain US states require MIO Partners, Inc. to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the range for new joiners for this role in the United States is $175,000-$175,000. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors, including, but not limited to an individual’s assigned office location, experience, and expertise. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to MIO’s discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
