Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling data infrastructure or database platforms.
• Proven ability to lead large infrastructure-focused organizations.
• Strong track record in reliability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical systems.
• Experience driving cross-functional technical strategy across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Data Infrastructure organization, including engineering managers and senior technical leaders.
• Define and execute the long‑term vision and roadmap for Rippling's data infrastructure platforms.
• Own the strategy, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of critical database infrastructure (MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB).
• Drive the evolution of orchestration platforms and workflow infrastructure (Temporal).
• Lead infrastructure strategy for AI platforms, developer tooling, and foundational services enabling AI-powered products.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, AI, and platform leaders to align infrastructure investments with priorities.
