Job summary

Horizon Media in New York City is hiring a Director of Enterprise Data Governance to lead the company’s governance program, ensuring data quality, privacy and regulatory compliance across platforms and teams.

You will partner with Technology, Product, Data Engineering and Legal to govern data responsibly as Horizon evolves from a Data Processor to a Data Controller, with a strong emphasis on governance culture and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or privacy operations.
• Experience implementing governance frameworks and governance technologies.
• Strong knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR/CPRA/CCPA).

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance framework, policies and procedures.
• Develop metrics, dashboards and reporting to measure program maturity and compliance.
• Establish data owners, stewards and custodians across teams.
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy and Information Security to ensure alignment with regulations.
• Mentor Data Stewards and promote accountability and data quality.
