Job summary

Mastercard in Missouri seeks a Director, Data Analytics to lead an integrated organization spanning Data Science, Data Architecture & Engineering, and Reporting & Insights. You will own end-to-end data strategy and deliver scalable data products that drive business value.

You will coach leaders, set priorities, and partner with stakeholders to translate challenges into actionable analytics, building trusted platforms and governance to enable proactive decision-making.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary data and analytics organizations across data science, data engineering/architecture, and BI/reporting.
• Proven record of delivering enterprise data and analytics strategies with measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop leaders for Data Science, Data Architecture & Engineering, and Reporting & Insights.
• Define and execute a unified data and insights strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
• Own the end-to-end portfolio of data, analytics, and reporting initiatives to drive value.
• Partner with leaders to translate challenges into data products, analytics use cases, and reporting solutions.
• Guide scalable data architecture, pipelines, semantic models, and reusable data products.
• Advance insights from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive using analytics and AI.
• Establish standards for data quality, governance, and lifecycle management with cross-functional teams.
• Build a diverse, high-performing global team with strong succession plans.
