Job summary

Michigan Farm Bureau seeks a Director, of Data Analytics and Data Governance to translate data into trusted insights and measurable business outcomes across the Farm Bureau Family of Companies. You will lead enterprise data strategy, governance, and data products, partnering with architecture and security teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and secure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data-related field required.
• 10+ years in data, analytics, or information management roles.
• 5+ years in leadership managing data analytics, governance, or BI teams.
• Experience building and executing enterprise data strategies.
• Experience with data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance in insurance.
• Proven track record delivering analytics solutions that drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise data vision aligned with business objectives.
• Establish a strategic roadmap for data, analytics, and governance capabilities across the enterprise.
• Ensure the organization effectively executes and sustains the data vision, driving measurable business outcomes.
• Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on data analytics, enablement, and governance topics and corporate projects.
• Oversee the development and delivery of advanced analytics capabilities, reporting, and business intelligence solutions.
