Job summary

Tennant Company seeks a strategic Director of Cybersecurity to lead the enterprise cybersecurity program and advance Tennant’s global security posture. You will set the cybersecurity vision, governance and operating priorities across the enterprise, ensuring protection of people, data, systems, products and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Advanced cybersecurity certifications preferred.
• Deep knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise cybersecurity vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Provide governance, risk management, compliance and incident response leadership.
• Establish governance forums, decision rights, and policy framework.
• Advise leadership on risks, threats and investment priorities.
• Lead cybersecurity planning across global units and regions.
• Oversee operations with MSPs, vendors and internal teams.
• Develop a high-performing cybersecurity team and talent pipeline.
• Drive security culture and embed security into processes.
