Job summary

RRA Capital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Director, Commercial Real Estate Investments to take ownership of opportunities from initial screen through closing. You’ll underwrite directly, build and stress-test models, evaluate sponsors and markets, and determine when to deploy capital.

This hands-on role emphasizes independent judgment and clear, written investment memos. You will work closely with our CIO and investment team, developing a strong investment thesis, communicating risk

Qualifications

• A meaningful history of commercial real estate investment underwriting across deal types and markets
• Proven track record of independently underwriting and closing transactions
• Strong command of real estate fundamentals, financial analysis and credit risk

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting end to end—build models, source data and test assumptions
• Structure loans around leverage, pricing, covenants and protections
• Develop a clear investment thesis and communicate opportunities and risks
• Build relationships with brokers, sponsors and other market participants
• Own deals through diligence, structuring and closing
• Contribute ideas that improve how RRA evaluates risk and invests over time
