Job summary

Navitas Resourcing Group seeks a Director of Cost Control for data centers in Texas to guide cost engineering, forecasting, and EVM across hyperscale facilities. You will shape budgets for multi-million-dollar programs and lead cross-functional teams in a rapidly scaling AI infra environment.

Responsibilities include building estimation frameworks, guiding vendor negotiations, and steering ERP/PM tools like Procore and SAP to ensure accurate cost control and timely reporting for rapid-scale

Qualifications

• 10+ years of financial/commercial management in mission-critical facilities or hyperscale data centers.
• Deep proficiency in cost engineering, risk analysis, earned value management (EVM), and capital forecasting.
• Experience building estimation frameworks from design through closeout with contingency reserves.
• Extensive vendor contract negotiation and multi-million-dollar billing pipelines management.
• Proven track record leading distributed, cross-regional teams in high-growth environments.
• Familiar with ERP/PM tools (Procore, Kahua, Oracle Unifier, SAP) and Power BI reporting.

Role: Director of Cost Control Data Centers

Location: Texas

Company Overview

Our client is a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure company, building and operating large-scale data centers and GPU compute clusters to support AI training and inference workloads. The company controls a substantial pipeline of power capacity and development sites across multiple international markets, positioning it to scale compute infrastructure quickly in response to surging global demand.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive financial/commercial management experience, with a strong focus on mission-critical facilities, hyperscale data centers, or large-scale capital construction programs
• Deep proficiency in cost engineering, quantitative risk analysis, earned value management (EVM), and capital forecasting
• Demonstrated ability to build estimation frameworks from conceptual design through closeout, setting and defending contingency/reserve positions with quantitative evidence
• Extensive experience negotiating complex vendor contracts, managing multi-million-dollar billing pipelines, and arbitrating high-value change orders
• Proven track record building, mentoring, and leading distributed, cross-regional teams in high-growth environments
• Command of cost management, ERP, and project management platforms (e.g. Procore, Kahua, Oracle Unifier, SAP) and reporting tools such as Power BI
• Working knowledge of data center capital cost structure, including shell vs. fit out, long-lead equipment pricing, and cost per MW benchmarking
