NaphCare, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mental Health Director for the Jacksonville Pre-Trial Detention Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

You will oversee the facility's mental health programs and work with correctional officers and medical staff to ensure high-quality care for residents. The role requires an LMSW-C, LPC, or LMSW license, a master's degree in a related field, and prior correctional healthcare leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology or related field.
• Active, unrestricted license in state (LMSW-C, LPC, LMSW).
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in mental health care or acute care.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience in correctional healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee mental health programs for the facility.
• Coordinate and lead education and training on mental health care.
• Document patient mental health evaluations and maintain clinical records.
• Manage patient treatments including admission, discharge, and observation levels.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and correctional staff.
• Lead and develop mental health staff; recruit and onboard as needed.
• Develop and manage program budgets and resources.
• Respond to mental health crises and provide stabilization.
