Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Director of Corporate Security in Foster City, CA to lead all physical security programs for personnel and property across locations. You will oversee 24/7 security operations, manage incidents, and integrate advanced analytics and automation to improve threat detection.

You will shape security policy, coordinate with Facilities, HR, EHS, and IT, and guide a team including contractors and providers. Exceptional judgment and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate security.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing dispersed operations.
• Deep knowledge of physical security technologies and systems integration.
• Experience with insider threat programs and executive protection.
• Strong crisis leadership and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the physical security team across all Zoox locations.
• Oversee 24/7 security operations, including access control, GSOC, incident response, and emergency management.
• Develop, implement, train, and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Manage outsourced security providers and ensure contractual performance.
• Drive modernization with AI-driven analytics and smart surveillance.
