Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Director of Corporate Security in Foster City, CA to lead all physical security programs for personnel and property across locations. You will oversee 24/7 security operations, manage incidents, and integrate advanced analytics and automation to improve threat detection.

This leader will serve as the primary point of contact for all physical security programs for the company, including physical security operations, risk management, incident response, insider threat coordination, investigations, workplace violence prevention, event security, executive protection, and fleet security.## In this role, you will:Lead the physical security team across all Zoox locations Oversee 24/7 security operations, including access control, GSOC, incident response, and emergency management across all sites. Develop, implement, train, and enforce company security policies and procedures. Perform incident investigations and risk assessment activities. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure they are meeting company standards. Management of outsourced security suppliers to ensure their performance is meeting contractual requirements.. Drive modernization of security infrastructure, integrating smart surveillance, AI-driven analytics, and automation to enhance efficiency and threat detection. Partner with Facilities, HR, EHS, Legal, IT, and ProdSec to align security programs and insider threat protection with business operations.## Qualifications15+ years of progressive experience in corporate security with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally at companies with dispersed physical operations. Proven ability to lead and mentor diverse teams, including contractors and third-party service providers. Deep knowledge of physical security technologies, operations centers, and systems integration. Exceptional judgment, communication, and crisis leadership under pressure. Experience with emergency communications and escalation processes Demonstrated experience in managing insider threat programs and executing executive protection initiatives to enhance organizational security. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. Curious and ability to learn new technology and businesses. Proficient in utilizing data to guide decision-making while demonstrating strong written and oral communication skills.## Bonus QualificationsProfessional Security Industry Certifications such as APP, CPP, CFI, CFE, or PSP. Experience with fast-moving and growing technology or automotive business.## CompensationBase Salary Range There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
