Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated seeks a Director of Controllership Integration to lead the Controllership workstream for the McCormick and Unilever Foods integration. The role requires deep technical accounting expertise, project management, and cross-functional communication across Finance and senior leadership at the global HQ in Hunt Valley, MD.

The position is hybrid (50/50) with exposure to external advisors and a path toward end-state organizational design after close of the transaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years progressive Accounting/Finance experience with at least 5 years in public accounting.
• Experience leading M&A integration efforts and managing external advisor relationships.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, especially ASC 805 (business combinations).
• Experience with SEC filings, including S-4 and pro forma disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Own the Controllership integration workstream and related sub-workstreams.
• Direct technical accounting policies, financial reporting, and pro forma workstreams.
• Oversee external advisor relationships and ensure alignment with workstream needs.
• Deliver executive status reporting to VP & Controller and senior leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, HR, Operations) for integration timelines.
• Lead governance and escalation paths for accounting and financial reporting integration.
